Two of our NMSU-Granters were selected for the New Mexico Filmmaker Showcase at the Guild Cinema in Albuquerque on May 15 and 17. Derek Antonio's documentary Bros will show at 8:40pm on Thursday, May 15 and Lynsey Bohannon's documentary Losing a Daughter will show at 2:45pm on Saturday, May 17.

The Talking Sticks Film Festival sent two visitors on Monday and they are interested in showing some of our student work in June in Santa Fe. This is a great honor and the festival has connections to Sundance and the Smithsonian Institute. They are interested in showing projects by Alicia Charlie, Derek Antonio and Ryle Yazzie.

Thank you to everyone for your support of our program. I know we run around a lot with cameras and make some noise but you've all been very helpful and understanding. You've helped make a great environment for these students to be creative.
